Justin went on to further his education and received his Doctorate of Chiropractic at Parker University in Dallas, Texas graduating in 2014.
Dr. Stachowich, or Dr. Stak to his friends in Thunder Bay, is also a certified Fascial Distortion Model (FDM) Provider. FDM is a treatment model in which virtually all-soft tissue injuries or musculoskeletal complaints, are viewed through one or more of the six different types of alterations to the body’s connective tissues. These alterations/concepts are then applied for soft tissue mobilization to treat soft tissue and fascial conditions. Dr. Stak has further training as a medical professional through the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) focusing on diagnosis and treatment of golf injuries with the emphasis on golf posture and swing mechanics. One of Dr. Stak’s favourite things to do is spending the day at one of Thunder Bay’s golf courses.
Not only does he golf, he keeps himself active by playing a game of hockey during the cold months or hiking through our city’s beautiful nature trails. He also enjoys kicking back at the end of the day and exploring our city’s diverse food scene with his friends and family, always happy to be spending time with his loved ones.
While working in Dallas, Texas, Justin had the privilege of working with the Allen Americans, an ECHL affiliate with the San Jose Sharks. There he was able to see first hand that athletes under regular chiropractic care have a greater potential for peak performance. He participated in numerous health screenings and community functions for the implementation of health promotion and wellness strategies, and worked extensively with all degrees within the running community – 5K marathon runners, triathletes and Iron Man’s. His passion is movement! Being able to move free of dysfunction and pain enables individuals to achieve an increased quality of life.

Vince was born and raised in the wonderful city of Thunder Bay, and grew up very passionate about sport and activity. Growing up Vince spent the majority of his time either on the soccer field or at camp fishing with my friends and family. He thrives on living a healthy and active lifestyle. In his spare time, Vince thoroughly enjoy working out, playing golf, tennis and snowshoeing in the winter.
He began to develop a passion for health and wellness after spending many hours on the treatment table, receiving therapy of his own. It was then that he truly realized how much of a difference good rehabilitation can make in recovering from an injury or ailment. This led Vince to pursue his degree in Kinesiology at Lakehead University. During these 4 years, He developed a strong passion for physical exercise and completed both his Personal Training certification and his diploma in Professional Kinesiology.
From there, Vince wanted to take his career to the next level so decided to pursue a Masters in Physical Therapy at Queen’s University. After practicing for about 1 year, he also developed an interest in holistic and manual therapy which pushed him to complete his Diploma in Manual Osteopathic Medicine to become a certified Manual Osteopath.
Vince’s words: “In my practice I strongly believe that education is key to success. I aim to supply my patients with the knowledge and understanding to better manage their pain or restriction.
